Hi, Welcome to Mrs. Leonard’s first post. We will finish the week off with swimming on Friday afternoon. Please remember to bring your permission slip and money on Monday. Also, don’t forget your swim gear on Friday. Just a reminder we will be having a Care Assembly on Friday morning at 8:45. Parents are welcome to join us in the morning. Also, your child may have mentioned that our class is hosting a student teacher this term. Welcome to Mrs. Byette. She is volunteering in our room up until Spring Break and will begin her teaching assignment in April. Don’t forget we will be having a weighing contest this week. This is where students will guess the weight of the pennies collected for Haiti. Please drop by, outside the library on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and see the huge collection of pennies. Make a guess and submit it in the class. The winner will be announced on Friday at the Care Assembly.
This week in class. We will be finishing up our math test on Monday. Please encourage your son or daughter to practice their math facts at home. Look under the Math Page on this blog and you will find some links to help with math.
